Building a specialized aerial services company at the intersection of drone technology, geospatial data, and field documentation. Northern Venture delivers aerial surveys, photogrammetric mapping, and infrastructure inspections across sectors including construction, utilities, mining, forestry, and heritage preservation.

• Design and execute drone operations for photogrammetric 3D mapping, aerial survey, and site inspection, producing publication-quality spatial datasets and high-resolution visualizations
• Lead all aspects of business development, client acquisition, and regulatory compliance, including Transport Canada Advanced Operations certification
• Apply geospatial processing pipelines to aerial data, delivering actionable reports and decision-support outputs to stakeholders

SkyWatch operates one of the world's largest satellite imagery marketplaces, aggregating data from dozens of commercial and government earth observation providers. As engineering team lead, I directed a front-end team of three engineers across a suite of web applications serving thousands of customers globally — from independent researchers to enterprise geospatial operations.

• Led the design and development of a native integration between the SkyWatch EarthCache imagery marketplace and Esri's ArcGIS Pro, bringing seamless satellite data purchasing directly into the workflows of the world's most widely used professional GIS platform.
• Architected Angular- and React-based front-end applications in a monorepo pattern, leveraging NgRx state management and AWS infrastructure
• Grew and mentored a front-end engineering team with individualized development plans, improving delivery consistency and team retention
• Drove front-end recruitment, including interview design and candidate evaluation
• Established design systems, testing procedures, and CI/CD pipeline improvements that reduced release friction across the engineering org

A decade embedded with Toyota and Lexus Canada's digital presence, leading development across consumer-facing marketing sites and enterprise manufacturing systems. The Toyota Canada and Lexus Canada websites served millions of monthly visitors and were recognized twice by J.D. Power & Associates as the best automotive OEM websites in Canada.

• Designed, built, and physically deployed a complete hardware-software kiosk system across Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada's plant facilities. The kiosks, installed at security checkpoints at 3 TMMC locations, replaced a manual contractor onboarding process with a self-serve digital training, testing, and certification workflow, significantly reducing administrative overhead and improving compliance tracking for contractors entering active manufacturing sites.
• Led a front-end rebuild of Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada's internal intranet, migrating legacy applications to a modern architecture and improving accessibility and maintainability for the internal user base across manufacturing operations.
• Led development of Toyota and Lexus Canada consumer sites serving millions of monthly visitors, winning back-to-back J.D. Power awards for best Canadian automotive OEM website (Lexus, Toyota)
• Delivered Canada's first responsive luxury automotive websites for Lexus, setting a new benchmark for the industry
• Architected full-stack solutions across Angular, Laravel, WordPress, Java/Struts, and Freemarker
• Led the agency's transition from waterfall to agile methodology, onboarding technical and non-technical team members alike
